The specified values were determined using the prescribed WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light-duty vehicles Test Procedures) measurement method. The fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions of a passenger car depend not only on the efficient use of fuel by the car, but also on driving style and other non-technical factors. CO₂ is the greenhouse gas primarily responsible for global warming. A guide on the fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions of all new passenger car models offered in Germany is freely accessible at every sales location in Germany where new passenger cars are exhibited or offered. ¹ Only the CO₂ emissions resulting from the operation of the vehicle are specified. CO₂ emissions arising from the production and provision of the vehicle as well as the fuel or energy sources, whether generated or avoided, are not taken into account when determining CO₂ emissions according to WLTP.

² Due to the CO₂ pricing, future increases in fuel costs are possible. The future CO₂ price development is uncertain, therefore the potential CO₂ costs are calculated based on three assumed CO₂ prices for the period 2023 to 2023. ³ The tax exemption is granted for ten years from the date of initial registration, for electric vehicles registered for the first time between May 18, 2011, and December 31, 2025, but no later than December 31, 2030.
